New chef de cuisine joins Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah
Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah is delighted to welcome Yosuke Matsuoka as the new Chef De Cuisine at UMI Restaurant.
Beginning his culinary career in 1996 as a Chef and Banquet Chef Roll, he has collected significant experiences in various Japanese and international restaurants and five-star hotels. In 2005, he was promoted as a head chef in two renowned restaurants in the United States of America. Bringing his extensive set of skills and experiences, he worked in Spain as Head Sushi Chef in 2012. Through time, he became an Executive Chef in the Japanese section of Grand Hotel Columella, a five-star hotel in Italy, where he created traditional and Mediterranean-infused dishes.
