Rotana Hotels has confirmed that Lilian Roger has been appointed as general manager at Rosh Rayhaan by Rotana in Riyadh. He was previously in the same position at ART Rotana in Bahrain.

Roger said: “I am thrilled to be joining the team at Rosh Rayhaan by Rotana Riyadh. I look forward to working with the team to continue our efforts to create a lifelong relationships with our partners and guests. We are focused on delivering moments that will be remembered for years to come.

He was at ART Rotana – now the Art Hotel and Resort – for almost five years, before that, he was posted at Downtown Rotana in Manama.

Most of his 25 years in the industry were with Hilton. He started as an F&B management trainee for Hilton Roissy in 1995, moving up to F&B coordinator of Hilton Cannes a year later. After almost four years in France, he began to travel the world, taking up roles in Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt and Japan through a series of progressively senior roles.

He went on to hold two general manager positions for Hilton in China, at both the Hilton Guiyang and Xian.
