Skyscanner and Akasa Air prepare for take-off with new deal
Akasa Air’s great value fares available to Skyscanner’s 110m monthly users
June 2024: Global travel leader Skyscanner and India’s fastest-growing airline Akasa Air have signed a new partnership agreement.
The deal will provide Skyscanner’s growing, highly engaged global audience of over 110m monthly users searching for flights on all Skyscanner platforms with access to Akasa Air’s great value domestic and international fares.
With India poised to become one of the biggest travel markets in the world in the coming years, the partnership will ensure both Indian and global travellers have the greatest choice and convenience of airfares.
Analysis of the latest Skyscanner Travel Insight data shows, that since the start of 2024, searches for domestic travel in India are up 19% YoY, whilst searches amongst Indian travellers for ‘Everywhere’ are up 122% YoY.
