DoubleTree by Hilton has announced the appointment of Vinay Nair as their new General Manager. Nair is a well-rounded hotelier veteran with more than two decades of extensive hospitality experience.
In his new role as the General Manager, Vinay will be responsible for curating strategic initiatives to ensure the highest levels of guest engagement, profitability and continue to build on the positioning and the reputation of DoubleTree by Hilton Pune - Chinchwad. Nair hails from an army background and has keen interests in travelling, cars, and gadgets.
He has been a part of global brands such as Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Accor, Taj Hotels, Resorts & Palaces, Guoman & Thistle Hotels, Menzies Hotels etc.
Passionate about talent development, he has mentored many industry leaders in his tenure, and in the year 2014, he has received the award for Best Professional in Hospitality by PATWA, which is a testament to his passion for hospitality.
