Dr. Chef Kaviraj Khialani Awarded Excellence Award 2025 At Hotel Taj Land’s End, Mumbai.

Excellence & Dedication have been 2 synonyms which have been directly related to Chef Kaviraj, a Mumbai based celebrity master chef, author & academician. Besides having a rich and valued educational background from having studied to great levels and certified by various institutions and universities across the globe he has left no stone unturned when it comes to proving his skills & abilities to rise & shine in the food & hospitality industry.

An experience of around 27 years now, two times national award winner with a mix of industry roles including five star hotels,international airlines, television and media,writing & authoring half a dozen books, consultancy, training & development for the industry professionals,a coach- mentor,trainer & guide for budding hospitality industry students lists just a few of his task lists!

Chef Kaviraj started his career note at a very early age and he re-calls his first & fondest memories of having started his basic’s in his home kitchen from his chef mother & culinary expert. The hobby then took a turn to becoming a professional decision and he took his studies very seriously ever since childhood and was on top of the charts all through academics. 

Creative Cuisine International, Mumbai- India,also happens to be his own set up where it re-kindles the relation between enriching the quality quotient & performance in the industry but also helps budding professionals to find their destinations out there in the industry and overall assist them with enhancing their career growth-scope & add value to their experiences along the professional journey. 

Besides being with the industry on a very active note, Chef Kaviraj is also a certified trainer by the swiss hotel management school, the university of Ireland, the American hotel & lodging institute to name a few. He is involved in carrying out professional training & development programs and seminar sessions for various star category hotels & restaurants/ retail organisations & more.

The recent award received by Dr. Chef Kaviraj Khialani was just another acknowledgement of his untiring efforts and dedication all the way through his valued professional journey so far. He is specialised in 33 plus international cuisines & fusion world cuisine concepts where he picks a dish from any cuisine & re-presents it re- arranges it with a touch of global fusion touch and a dramatic overall surprise for his guests through his clients/ menu planning assignments/ training sessions for chefs etc.

The award received on 17th February 2025 by him at Hotel Taj Land’s End is one for excellence in leadership for 2025. Here he was presented a beautiful framed award titled as Dr. Tarita Shankar award for Excellence 2025. The event saw a great inflow of dignitaries and award receivers from all across the world from Mauritius, Korea, Japan, Manila to name a few countries. The event was well planned and executed by the team of CMO Asia & world leadership congress & awards.

While my mom always says, hardwork & dedication pays! It is a sense of gratitude & thanksgiving to parents for having instilled such wonderful qualities in me from a very young age. It gives them a sense of pride & repeated feeling of satisfaction that my son has done so very well for himself in his chosen field of interest since childhood! This is one of the messages I like to give to today’s genzee young genre people that strive and work towards making it happen, and with just one mindset & thought it can start happening! 

It happened with me not out of shortcuts or as if I had some godfather in this industry, I found my ways, I stayed up nights to read and study- research and experiment,working on myself, the confidence building process, the rage to face the competition which existed ever since my time since 1997.but somehow the one thing that kept it on a high was the thought that I wanted to do something different and be a little out of the box as compared to the regulars and according to me and my well-wishers, guides,critics etc that very thought has kept it working till now for me!
