Baskar will be responsible for the entire Food & Beverage operations of Park Hyatt Chennai and delivering a unique, worldly, and sophisticated approach to food and wine.

Nithilavalavan Baskar has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Park Hyatt Chennai. A native of Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu he holds a Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology.

With his strong Food & Beverage understanding and fresh insights, Baskar will be responsible for the entire Food & Beverage operations of Park Hyatt Chennai and delivering a unique, worldly, and sophisticated approach to food and wine.

Baskar began his career in 2008 with The Oberoi Amarvilas and then went on to work with brands like Madinat Jumeirah, ITC Hotels, Alila Hotels, and The Leela. He joined the Hyatt family in 2017 at Grand Hyatt Goa as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, which was also his last assignment.

In his leisure time, he enjoys biking and adventure sports.
