Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) Announces A SeleQtions Hotel In Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), South Asia's largest hospitality company, today announced the signing of a SeleQtions hotel in Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra. This hotel is in partnership with Thriving Hotels Private Limited.

Commenting on the signing, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President - Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, "IHCL enters a new leisure destination with this hotel. Tadoba National Park is the oldest and the largest tiger reserve in Maharashtra. In addition to catering to customers seeking a wilderness experience, the scale of the hotel and its proximity to Nagpur airport will help to attract meetings and conferences. These hotels will complement the existing safari circuit within our portfolio. We are delighted to partner with Thriving Hotels in this project."

The 35-room hotel spread over 17 acres is strategically located at the outskirts of the Tadoba Andhari Tiger, in close proximity of three of the most accessible and popular gates to the National Park. With a distinctive design, the hotel will have all the facilities required to give guests a unique safari experience. This is a Greenfield project and is slated to open in 2022.

Maharashtra allows hotels to resume operations at 33% capacity from July 8, smaller hotels likely to stay shut

The Maharashtra government, through an order allowed hotels and other accommodation providers to resume operations with restricted entry and at 33% capacity outside containment areas from July 8, but industry insiders said smaller, boutique hotels in the state are likely to stay shut given the limited number of rooms, new standard operating procedures (SOPs), and costs of doing business.

The order allows restaurants in hotels to operate for resident guests with social distancing norms

IHCL launches Qmin to take Taj’s culinary experiences to every household

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), South Asia’s largest hospitality company, announced the launch of Qmin. A repertoire of culinary experiences commencing with delivering dishes from your favorite restaurants in the comfort of your homes will be the first phase of the Qmin launch.

The Qmin mobile application is launched, today, followed by the gourmet Qmin Shop in August and the loyalty platform in September.

Guests can call the dedicated toll-free number 1800 266 7646 to place their orders. From July 25th, they can download the app on android and IOS mobile devices.
