Room types range from 41 to 110 square metres in size and are designed in a contemporary local style, with a balcony or terrace in every room and views of the gardens, pool or sea. A selection of family rooms with bunk beds are available, and the newly-reimagined resort has also introduced brand-new pool access rooms, private cabana rooms, two-bedroom suites and private pool suites.

 Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) announced the continued strategic growth of the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House brands throughout 2023. This growth includes expanding the brandโ€™s footprint in the U.S. in new markets where there are no Hyatt hotels and the thoughtful expansion of airport locations in key markets.

Todayโ€™s news comes on the heels of Hyatt announcing significant progress in the development of the Hyatt Studios brand, the latest select service brand in the Hyatt portfolio, including executed franchise agreements for the first locations in Mobile, Ala. and Marysville, Calif., emphasizing Hyattโ€™s strategy of adding hotels in untapped markets where its brand presence is yet to be established; groundbreaking for the Mobile, Ala. location is slated for Q4 2023.

Marriott International, Inc. announced it has signed a Hotel Management Agreement with Indonesian real estate developer, PT. Pakuwon Jati Tbk. to open three properties in Indonesiaโ€™s new capital city, Ibu Kota Negara Nusantara. The multi-deal agreement was signed by President and CEO of Marriott International Anthony Capuano and President Commissioner of PT. Pakuwon Jati Tbk. Alexander Tedja.

Meaning โ€œarchipelagoโ€ in ancient Javanese, Nusantara is a symbol of national identity and planned as a smart forest city, in line with Indonesiaโ€™s commitment to achieve zero carbon emissions and 100% new and renewable energy by 2060. With the agreement, Marriott expects to debut three brands โ€“ Four Points by Sheraton, Westin Hotels & Resorts and Tribute Portfolio โ€“ in the highly anticipated destination, featuring transformational experiences and destination-rooted authenticity.

Marriott International, Inc., today announced it has signed an agreement with Dalands Holding in collaboration with Marjan, the master-developer of freehold properties in Ras Al Khaimah, to bring W Hotels to Al Marjan Island. Slated to open in Q1 2027, W Al Marjan Island is anticipated to mark W Hotels first property in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah bringing bold design, outstanding service and always-on programming. 

Al Marjan Island is Marjanโ€™s flagship archipelago island off the coast of the city set against the picturesque backdrop of the Arabian Peninsula and enclosed by the Yanas and Jais Mountains. A thriving leisure destination, the island attracts global travellers to its luxurious waterfront living and white sandy beaches and offers an array of activities and water sports. The island is also in close proximity to Ras Al Khaimahโ€™s cultural, heritage and adventure attractions.

At the heart of the hotelโ€™s design story is โ€˜the larrikin,โ€™ a quintessentially Australian character whose strong spirit informs and inspires the hotelโ€™s luxe yet unconventional interiors.

From the moment guests step past the W sign, inspired by the Australian flower Waratah, they are on a design-led journey. The copper-clad entry pays homage to subterranean Sydney and its disused railway tunnels, and an illuminated vertical promenade sweeps guests up into Living Room, a vivid blue space that reinvents the conventions of a traditional lobby by turning it into a social hub. Embracing a โ€˜Future Noirโ€™ theme, Living Room is punctuated by an electric blue circular bar and nest-like seating that reference the Australian Bowerbird, a larrikin of the bird world. W Sydneyโ€™s 588 guestrooms, including 162 exceptional suites, draw inspiration from the hotelโ€™s harbourside location and nearby beaches, exuding marine-chic in their nautical white and navy-blue palette and undulating walls that echo the sails of yachts in the marina below. Leading the culinary adventures at BTWN is Head Chef Chris Dodd, an alumnus of Aria and Blue Door, whose menus hero the produce of New South Wales.  Fortune Hotels, a member of ITCโ€™s hotel group announced the signing of a new operating agreement for an upscale property in Dehradun. With this alliance, the premium hotel chain adds its fourth hotel in Uttarakhand, thereby adding more depth to its swiftly growing portfolio in this mystical North Himalayan state.
