May 2024, National | Novotel Mumbai International Airport is proud to announce the appointment of Rachita Sood as General Manager. Rachita is an accomplished hospitality veteran with over 20 years’ experience with specialized expertise in Rooms, Guest Experience, Spa Operations, Revenues and Controls, Implementation and maintenance of Operational Systems and Procedures amongst others. In her new role, Rachita will spearhead overall development of Hotel Operations vertical and oversee planning and implementation of strategies along with guest relations, leading the team towards maximum impact and outcome. Rachita, formerly Director of Operations at Sofitel BKC, has achieved an internal promotion to General Manager at Novotel Mumbai International Airport. Rachita's promotion underscores her dedication and capability to navigate diverse challenges within the hospitality industry, promising to elevate excellence at Novotel Mumbai International Airport.

An alumni of MGV College of Hotel Management, Rachita has been associated with some of the biggest international brands in hospitality across India.

Commenting on her appointment Rachita Sood, General Manager, Novotel Mumbai International Airport expressed her enthusiasm, “I am excited to take on the new role and happy to be part of the Novotel Mumbai International Airport team. The hotel, although recent, has in a short span become a must visit for expats, business travelers and also the local residents looking for an unwinding time away from home. But there is always room for more and I am working on new ideas to further strengthen brand perception especially amongst the younger Mumbai audiences and looking forward to bringing those ideas to fruition.
