Dr. Sanjiv Kumar Sharma is an accomplished hospitality and tourism educator, speaker, and industry expert with over two decades of diverse experience in hotel, cruise line, and academic sectors. Presently serving as an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) at the School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies, SRM University Sikkim, he is dedicated to advancing education and nurturing future leaders in the hospitality and tourism industry.
With an educational foundation including a three-year degree in Hotel Management & Catering Technology, an MBA in Tourism & Hotel Management, and a Ph.D. in Hospitality & Tourism, Dr. Sharma blends academic excellence with practical insights. He has contributed significantly as a member of the Board of Studies at RGU, West Bengal, and as an academic counselor at IGNOU Sikkim. His global recognition is reflected in his 2021 address at the University of Economics and Finance (UEF), Vietnam, under the invitation of the Consulate General of India.
