Job opening for Food and Beverage Controller (Goa Location - Restaurant)
/Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a deep understanding of the Food and Beverage industry? We are currently seeking a Food and Beverage Controller to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in Goa.
# Role and Responsibilities:
As a Food and Beverage Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial performance of our F&B department. Your main responsibilities will include:
Monitoring and controlling food and beverage costs by ensuring accurate inventory management and analysis.
Conducting regular audits to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborating with the purchasing team to optimize supplier relationships, negotiate favorable contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
Tracking sales and revenue, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective measures.
Coordinating with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure proper portion control, recipe adherence, and waste management.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and market competition.
Producing regular reports on financial performance, cost variations, and inventory levels for management review.
# Qualifications and Skills:
To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Food and Beverage Controller or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
In-depth knowledge of food and beverage cost control techniques, inventory management, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and MS Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments and suppliers.
