Prior to joining Novotel Guwahati GS Road, Chef Narendra served as Chef de Cuisine at Anantara - Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort in Oman, where he showcased his culinary talent and leadership skills in managing diverse culinary operations. His culinary journey includes enriching experiences with esteemed brands such as The Oberoi, The Ritz Carlton, and Radisson Blu, where he honed his skills and developed a keen understanding of culinary excellence.

Chef Narendra holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from I.H.M. Gurdaspur, where he received comprehensive training and education in culinary arts and hotel management. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and innovation, earning accolades and recognition for his culinary creations and leadership.

Dwayne Krisko Appointed as the New Culinary Director at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island

Dwayne Krisko has been named as the new Culinary Director at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, the world-famous twin-island resort that is home to the world's first underwater restaurant, Ithaa. The resort, which is part of the luxury Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand, is renowned for providing guests with an exceptional experience.

As the Culinary Director and an experienced chef, Dwayne will oversee all of the resort's culinary and food and beverage operations, including guests' culinary journeys, sustainability practices, and special events. He will use his extensive experience to bring his expertise and ideas to the resort's 12 award-winning bars and restaurants.

Dwayne brings more than 20 years of culinary experience, working in luxury hotels and resorts all over the world. Prior to joining Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, he served as Executive Culinary Director at VinGroup in Hanoi, Vietnam, where he launched new concepts and managed eco-friendly projects. He also previously held the position of Culinary Director at One & Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives.

Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is a pioneer among the Maldives' 150 resorts, known for its authentic barefoot luxury experience. The resort has been recently refurbished and continues to offer unique experiences such as the world's first underwater bedroom in its two-level residence, The MURAKA. A culinary maestro with an illustrated career spanning over two decades of hospitality and culinary proficiency, Chef Sunil will not only oversee the hotel’s five vibrant dining venues but also spearhead the various experiential & eclectic culinary concepts at W Goa, all aimed at elevating the overall luxe guest experience.

With over 24 years of culinary expertise in kitchens across India, China, the Philippines, Seychelles & Maldives, Chef Sunil comes with exceptional skills in handling multiple clientele and expertise across purchasing, receiving and preparing culinary products with strong knowledge of Western, Asian, Japanese, Arabic, Indian, Italian, Mexican & Pastry. He has comprehensive experience in adhering to international standard service procedures, with a strong background in banquet operations, food and beverage management, public relations and customer relations.

Speaking of his new role at W Goa, Chef Sunil says, "I am thrilled to embark on this journey with W Goa. Chef Sunil joins W Goa from Waldorf Astoria Lusail, Doha wherein he served as the Executive Sous Chef. Proficient in numerous cooking techniques with a talent for working with ingredients from countries around the world, he has had successful stints at leading Indian and international luxury hotel chains such as Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Raffles Hotels & Resorts, The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts and the Shangri-La Group. 

With proven leadership skills and a track record of training, development, and fostering strong teams focused on quality, presentation, cost containment and safety, Chef Sunil is ready to undertake the exciting challenge of introducing new concepts to W Goa’s signature dining destinations.
