Park Hyatt Hyderabad is pleased to announce appointment of Kanika Arora as the Rooms Division Manager (RDM) for the iconic property. Kanika is a passionate hotelier with over 12 years of experience in luxury hospitality. In her previous role, she was Executive Housekeeper at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon. Before joining Hyatt, Kanika has worked for luxury business hotels at Marriott & Oberoi Hotels. She is trained at Oberoi School of Learning & Development (OCLD) and completed her graduation from IHM Ahmedabad.
Kanika joined The Oberoi Gurgaon in 2011 after completing rigorous training at OCLD as a Asst. Manager. Over the next 6+ years she handled various positions of increasing responsibility at multiple Oberoi properties. She assumed a leadership role of Executive Housekeeper with Marriott Hotels at The Westin Gurgaon where she excelled in areas of her expertise – guest experience, training & development, quality assurance, budgeting & performance management.
She joined Hyatt family in 2019 at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, a pre-opening property at the millennium city of India. Upon asking about her 3-year tenure, she fondly recalled, “My most memorable career moment was opening of restaurants & event spaces at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, followed by opening of guest rooms. It was an exhilarating experience to welcome guests & witness them enjoying the property after a much-awaited pre-opening and COVID pandemic”
At Park Hyatt Hyderabad she intends to introduce her widely recognized ‘personalized touch’ that would reflect in operational excellence within the team and uniquely enriching experience for guests. She enjoys catching up on current affairs from across the globe in her spare time and spends her holidays with her 2 dogs, Hugo and Oswold.
