/In general, our check-in process is tailored to each guest.
At the beginning of this year, we launched Peninsula Time, a flexible check-in and check-out programme that lets guests arrive earlier and stay longer. With Peninsula Time, guests can arrange to have their room ready as early as 6:00am on their arrival date and check out as late as 10:00pm on their departure date, at no extra charge when booking directly or with their preferred travel advisor.
In addition, we try to gather as much information on file prior to the guests arrival so that they will not need to provide that information twice, which speeds up the entire check-in process, making it as hassle-free as possible. We also personalise the check-in process depending on the guests’ needs/wants, including giving them a choice between the traditional front desk or in-room check-in.
Our check-in is more about hosting and creating an enjoyable and seamless experience and less about processes and procedures.
The hotels also try to convey a sense of place during check-in, for example, a Jasmine garland at The Peninsula Bangkok or a welcome beverage at The Peninsula Beverly Hills.
