IHG builds on voco brand debut in India with another signing in Gurugram
/January 2023, New Delhi: IHG® Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, has signed a management agreement with Atharva Hotel Superfluities India Pvt Ltd for a new build voco hotel - voco Gurugram Golf Course Extension Road. The hotel is currently in the advanced stages of construction and will open soon, adding 204 keys to IHG’s premium portfolio in the country. The signing of a voco hotel in a Tier 1 city such as Gurugram will support the company’s growth ambitions for the brand in the South-West Asia region and build on the recent debut of the brand in India.
As one of IHG’s fastest-growing premium brands, voco allows guests to enjoy a unique and refreshed experience. Since launching globally in 2018, voco has enjoyed rapid growth with multiple signings across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia (EMEAA).
The hotel will be located just off the main Golf Course Extension Road, My Den, M3M Urbana, an established business and commercial area of Gurugram. In addition to modern guestrooms offering premium comfort, the hotel will feature all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge, a bar, an outdoor pool, and a gymnasium. To cater to the increasing demands of corporate guests, the hotel will also offer meeting rooms and a business center equipped with the latest technology.
Strategically located opposite the International Financial Center, voco Gurugram Golf Course Extension Road is expected to receive excellent visibility due to its frontage along the main road. The hotel is also a few minutes’ drive from Cyber City, the main corporate and recreational hub of Gurugram and in close proximity to the city’s established IT Special Economic Zones, making it a suitable choice for business and leisure travelers. The hotel also provides easy access to the Indira Gandhi International Airport, as well as Gurgaon Railway Station, with both located less than 25 minutes from the hotel.
