Marriott International, Inc. announced it has signed an agreement with Victoria Park Hotels Ltd. to launch The Park Lane Hong Kong, Autograph Collection in early 2025. The Park Lane Hong Kong, Autograph Collection is expected to join Autograph Collection Hotels’ portfolio of over 300 independent properties in the most desirable locations across the world, each with its own unique perspective on heartfelt design and hospitality.

The Park Lane Hong Kong, Autograph Collection will be located on Gloucester Road in Causeway Bay, home to Victoria Park, Hong Kong Island’s largest public park.   • 2 teaspoons turmeric powder

  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder

  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Curry leaves

  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds

  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add curry leaves and chopped onions. Saute until onions turn golden brown.

  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.

  3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.

  4. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

  5. Add chopped jackfruit and cook for 5 minutes.

  6. Pour coconut milk and simmer until the curry thickens.

  7. Serve hot with rice or bread.

2. Jackfruit Stir-Fry:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups raw jackfruit, boiled and sliced

  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, beans), sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon chili paste

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

   Instructions:

     1. Heat sesame oil in a pan and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.

     2. Add mixed vegetables and boiled jackfruit slices. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes.

     3. Mix in soy sauce, chili paste, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

     4. Adjust seasoning according to taste.

     5. Serve hot as a side dish or over rice.

3. Jackfruit Pulao:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup basmati rice, soaked for 30 minutes

  • 1 cup ripe jackfruit, chopped

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced

  • 1-inch ginger, grated

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Whole spices (1 cinnamon stick, 3 cloves, 2 cardamom pods)

  • Few mint leaves and coriander leaves, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons ghee

  • Salt to taste

   Instructions:

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add whole spices. Saute for a minute.

  2. Add sliced onions, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Fry until onions turn golden brown.

  3. Add chopped jackfruit and cook for 3-4 minutes.

  4. Drain soaked rice and add it to the pan. Mix well.

  5. Add 2 cups of water, salt, and chopped mint leaves. Bring to a boil.

  6. Reduce heat, cover, and cook until the rice is done.

  7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.

4. Jackfruit Tacos:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups shredded jackfruit (cooked or canned)

  • 8 taco shells

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced

GoodDot, the pioneer in plant-based meat protein, has announced its collaboration with the International Centre for Culinary Arts (ICCA) Dubai. This partnership aims to empower chefs with specialized certifications in crafting exquisite plant-based protein dishes. Marking a significant milestone in the evolution of plant-based protein, GoodDot and ICCA Dubai are committed to creating a standard in which the world consumes plant-based protein.
