Naveen Shekhawat joins Hilton Jaipur as its new Chief Engineer. Naveen’s extensive career spanning 20 years boasts a proven track record in operations, maintenance, energy conservation, project management, and fire and life safety. He has built an impressive portfolio, working with prestigious brands such as Taj Hotels, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts.

As an accomplished engineering professional, Naveen is deeply committed to cultivating a secure and welcoming environment. Nikhil began his career in hospitality engineering as a Graduate Engineering Trainee with Taj Hotels, where he quickly distinguished himself. His first role was at the renowned Taj Fort Aguada, Goa, where he handled guest room renovations and rose to the position of Engineer. Nikhil then transitioned to the Ambassador - IHCL SeleQtions, New Delhi, where he served as Deputy Engineer for three years, honing his skills in maintenance and engineering coordination at a high-profile property.

Following his tenure in Delhi, Nikhil joined The Leela Goa as Deputy Chief Engineer and played an integral role in the seamless conversion of the property into The St. Regis Goa Resort. This accomplishment highlighted his commitment to quality and his capacity for overseeing complex transitions within high-demand hospitality environments.

As Chief Engineer at Moxy Mumbai, Nikhil will leverage his extensive technical knowledge and operational insights to ensure smooth coordination with the projects team, overseeing all technical aspects of the hotel’s operations. Holiday Inn Agra is delighted to announce the appointment of Abhinav Agarwal as our new Chief Engineer. Abhinav holds a B.Tech from Hindustan College, equipping him with a strong technical foundation. Mumbai, September 2024 — Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport announces the  appointment of Shaikh Ataullah Mohammed Akhtar as the new Chief Engineer. With an  extensive career spanning over 25 years, including two decades in the hospitality sector,  Ataullah brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this pivotal role. 

In his new position, Ataullah will oversee all engineering operations at Holiday Inn Mumbai,  ensuring the highest standards of maintenance, safety, and efficiency. His appointment aligns  with the hotel’s commitment to providing exceptional service and maintaining a world-class  facility for its guests. 

Ataullah's impressive background includes a successful tenure as the Assistant General  Manager - Technical Operations at M/S SILA Facility Company, where he managed facilities  for Oberoi Eternia and Windsor Grande Residences etc. Prior to this role, he served as the  Director of Engineering at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach, where he led Operation and major  CAPEX projects and directed comprehensive renovations. His experience extends to  prestigious hotels such as Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa and Sofitel Mumbai BKC,  showcasing his capability in managing large-scale engineering operations and projects.

Roshan is a seasoned leader from the hospitality and retail industry with an experience of 20 + years with organizations such as Cushman & Wakefield, The Taj Group of Hotels, Accor, Voltas Ltd., Pantaloon Retail India Limited and Radisson Group. His expertise lies in Energy & Environment Conservation Technologies, Automated Building Management System, Fire Engineering, electrical & mechanical utilities, HVAC systems & more.
