The event’s highlight was the unique football theme which remained the guests’ favourite throughout the evening. To set the ceremony off, guests donned hand gloves, aprons, and toques. Cake Mixing Ceremony At Radisson Goregaon 

Radisson Goregaon indulged into a festive vibe where traditional values were relived. On 12th November Radisson Goregaon celebrated Cake Mixing Ceremony at their Coffee Shop "FIRIN" with celebrities & hotel staff. 


The Cake Mixing Ceremony was graced by popular actor Ashnoor Kaur, Femina Miss India Runner Up & Bigg Boss 16 Fame Manya Singh, Master Chef Akanksha Khatri & many more. 

Talking about the old tradition, Radisson Goregaon General Manager Syed Iftekhar Mehdi said, "Since past few years we were not having an F&B outlet we were excited to have an F&B floor. After two years of renovation, we finally achieved it. Before pandemic hit we had 180 degree a buffet restaurant. We renovated the entire second floor and came up with four outlets, Progressive Indian Cuisine Restaurant Musaafer, FIRIN  an all day dine in which is open for 24hrs which was not earlier. We also have Pan Asian Restaurant Goma & Tipple Bar so we were excited. Cake mixing was the first F&B event we did in FIRIN & It was good".


Radisson Goregaon Executive Corporate Chef Navid Akhtar said, "This was the first time we are doing cake mixing ceremony at "FIRIN" so lot of preparations were done in advance. We had to order all these ingredients which are rarely available in the market and resourced it from a very good vendor & took care of the quality. Second thing is we do a lot of preparation for it like cutting, chopping and everything even the spices has to be blended well. Roasting happens with the spices too and then we blend and keep them seperately. The liquor part is also used that's how we go with this Preperation. 

Radisson Goregaon Hotel Manager Santosh Singh reveals the idea behind FIRIN he adds, "FIRIN" is a Turkish word, In our Radisson Goregaon we didn't had a bakery earlier but we had a space so the idea came up to make it as a  24 hrs open bakery to fulfil our customers mid night cravings. Soon we are planning to deliver "FIRIN" items at customers door step through platforms like Zomato & Swiggy".

Hilton Goa Resort embraced the festive cheer with a joyous cake mixing ceremony




Goa, November 2022: Hilton Goa Resort embraced the Yuletide with the traditional cake mixing ceremony which marks the beginning of the festive season on the 22nd of October 2022. The starry affair was graced with Goan media, influencers, content creators along with the guests, who called it one of the best cake mixing events in Goa. 



The soirée began with a signature dance performance by the resort's management and staff followed by a special performance by the saxophonist.
The guests donned aprons, gloves, and chef hats as they excitedly immersed themselves in creating the merry mixture by combining the spices, nuts, and spirited beverages. The evening saw an assorted menu curated by the culinary team at the resort comprising palatable small bites and refreshments which were savored by the guests. Crowne Plaza Greater Noida celebrates International Chef Day; Young Kids become master chefs for a day

Chefs are known for their skills and innovative presentable techniques and cooking some delectable savories. They are the creative hands behind the love language called food. They keep innovating to satisfy our food cravings. To mark a day, International Chef Day dedicated to these wonderful cooks, Crowne Plaza Greater Noida played host to a unique fun activity, where they invited kids from Prathmik Vidhyalaya Mubarikpur and gave them the opportunity to be the master chef for the day to cook some delicious dishes. 

Along with cooking food, the kid received insight into a career in the hospitality industry from the Chefs team led by Executive Sous Chef, Saurabh Singh Chandel and General Manager Crowne Plaza Greater Noida, Sharad K. Upadhyay. It was a heady concoction for these kids who also tried their hands at cooking during this fun activity. It was a delightful event in every sense for these kids. 

Talking about the activity GM Sharad K. Upadhyay said, we all are in celebration mode, and it’s the International Chef Day. To contribute to the society and in an effort to make these kids have a good time, entertainment and celebrations, we plan to host this program with kids and chefs. It was thoroughly entertaining for us to have them here to celebrate the Chef Day, some of them were quite talented and tried their hands at deliciously cooked dishes. 

During the program, the kids danced to the tunes, recited some songs, poems etc., while we found the GM himself cooking for these kids. That was a surprising moment for all. 

Saurabh Singh Chandel was excited and happy with the proceedings. He said to be a part of such activities are real fun, especially when these kids cooked the dishes and served like the professionals. We at Crowne Plaza Greater Noida believe in celebrating each and every occasion in a different way, so we all decided to dedicate the International Chef Day celebrations to these little master chefs for a day and it was some serious fun and entertainment for all, he said. 

The Crowne Plaza Greater Noida team also celebrated the day and Diwali festivities with these kids and contributed some gifts as a token of love to the children.

Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology inaugurated “The 21st Chandiwala Hospitality Ensemble” on 19th October 2022. The event was witnessed by a record crowd of Hospitality Students, Industry Experts, Trade Media and Faculty Members. Such events steer students towards teamwork, leadership, and planning with overall management skills as well as showcasing artistic ability in cultural extravaganzas, for holistic personality development through extracurricular activities. The event began with an inauguration ceremony with eminent Chief Guest Chef Rakesh Sethi, Radisson Hotel Group, Guest of Honour Dr Ganesh Bagler, Associate Professor, Infosys Centre for Artificial Intelligence, Department of Computational Biology, IITD.

Dr. Ganesh Bagler spoke about his research in computational gastronomy which is an emerging data science of food, flavors and health. By blending food with data and computation he has helped establish the foundations of this niche area. Starting with the investigation of food pairing in Indian cuisine, his lab has contributed to computational gastronomy with studies on culinary fingerprints of world cuisines, culinary evolution, benevolent health impacts of spices, and taste prediction algorithms.

Dr. Chef Prem Ram, congratulated the institution for organising the Ensemble and also thanked Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala Sewa Smarak Trust Society, along with sponsors, media partners & participating institutes for their contribution towards the Hospitality Ensemble.

He spoke about the sustainability of food and its long term impact on the health of Indian consumers. Incidentally, we have kept the theme of "Shashwat Bhoj" which truly encapsulates the theme of sustainability. "Shaswat Bhoj" is a feast to remember our past, to sustain for our future and to explore our discovered present. After all, the habit of local consumption is a principle encouraged by ancient medicinal systems as it helps decrease the ecological footprint by reducing energy requirements involved in processing, packaging, storage, and transportation.

The Chefs and Managers representing different departments of Hotels in Delhi-NCR will be judging the various competitions such as Bar-wizard Bar Challenge (a cocktail mix-&-straight competition), R Pure Traditional Vedic Cuisine Challenge, Nestle Culinary Challenge, USAPEEC INDIA, Biryani Competition, Oxford Hospitality Brain Twister (quiz competition related to hospitality services & tourism), Korean Culinary Challenge, Floral Decoration Competition, Tramontina Fruit & Vegetable Carving and Dress the Cake Competition.
