Rajan is currently Director of Human Resources at Four Seasons Resorts Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru & Kuda Huraa Four Seasons Explorer & Private Island Voavah.

When we interviewed him in March 2010, he was Director HR at the Four Seasons Mumbai, India.

What do you look for in applicants? 
We look for candidates with a good attitude towards people, the job and whether he can be a good team player. 

What HR practices make you an employer of choice? 
Excellent work environment, Open Door Policy, employee facilities, empowerment at the employee level, pay for performance and not as per seniority. 

What can Hotel Management students in Indian hotel schools do during their course to get selected by Four Seasons? 
Come and see us prior to deciding their Industrial Training venue. 

What is the interview process at Four Seasons, Mumbai? 
Appear for 3 Happy Tests which consists of basic English, Mathematics, and Psychometry. 
Complete personal interviews with Human Resources, Department Head, Division Head and then approved finally by the General Manager. 
Everyone gets a chance to be the best on their day.
