Mumbai, Wednesday, November 2023: In the recent divisional announcement; Samit Kazi has been appointed as the Area Head of Sales for the West division for ITC Hotels India.  In his new role Samit will be responsible to drive hotels sales across assigned geographical region for ITC Hotels, Welcom & Storii brand. 

Based out of Mumbai region, Samit will leverage his experience of over 2 decades, to collaborate with the hotels sales and ITC Hotels Head Quarter team with an objective of driving revenue across hotel portfolio for the West region.

He started his career with Marriott’s flagship hotel Renaissance Mumbai Hotel and Convention Centre back in 2003. He has a wide-ranging sales experience in markets like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune while handling unit, regional, national and global sales profile. During his decade long tenure at Accor Hotels from 2011 to 2021.

Before joining ITC Hotels, he was previously part of Marriott Hotels, where he managed a portfolio of 13 hotels owned by SAMHI Hotels. Over his career, he has undertaken various key roles in Unit, Corporate, and Global sales, and also gained 3 years of strong operational experience as a Resident Manager for Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and General Manager for Novotel Kochi, playing a pivotal role in repositioning and enhancing the hotel's online reputation following an extensive renovation, showcasing her ability to revitalize a property's image and brand.
