Girish holds a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Edexcel, United Kingdom, and brings over 15 years of specialized experience in Asset Management,  Business Development, Guest relations, Marketing and Operations to this role.

Prior to joining The Machan, Girish served as Associate Director of Business Development at Sayaji Hotels. His career also includes a significant tenure as Business Development Manager at Lords Hotels and Resorts, alongside key roles at renowned organizations such as the Kamat Group of Hotels and Clermont Hotel Group, London.

In his new position, he will be responsible for expanding The Machan’s global footprint. Based in Mumbai, he will oversee strategic growth initiatives, establish critical partnerships, and lead new development projects.

Starting his culinary journey as a commis chef with Jaypee Hotels in Agra in 2013, Chef Hardeep steadily ascended through various culinary positions, accumulating a diverse knowledge base along the way. His talent was recognised early on when he achieved the title of first runner-up at the prestigious AAHAR Delhi food festival while working with Crowne Plaza. Manisha Sharma has been appointed as the General Manager for The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat. She has extensive hands-on knowledge of hotel operations, sales and marketing, revenue, and customer delight, having worked with brands in India and Dubai.

Manisha’s career began at the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development. Her enthusiasm for results and passion for customer service led her to Rooms Operations, where she spent more than nine years exceeding expectations. She has worked at some of the leading hotel chains, including The Oberoi Grand in Kolkata, The Oberoi New Delhi, and Trident Gurgaon.

She then joined Marriott International properties at Marriott Hotels and Resorts, Jaipur; JW Marriott Pune; Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon; and JW Marriott Hotel Aerocity, New Delhi. To further enhance her skills and explore new avenues, she moved to Dubai as Complex Front Office Manager at Marriott Al Jaddaf and Marriott Executive Apartments Complex Dubai. Before joining Hilton Chennai, Ajay held various leadership positions, demonstrating his expertise in general administration, facility management, vendor development, front office operations, housekeeping, security, spa, health club management, travel desk, engineering, and overseeing food and beverage operations.

Ajay excelled in managing the front office, housekeeping, and security operations in his previous role as Rooms Division Manager at Double Tree by Hilton Agra. He achieved outstanding results, such as a 104% Review Site Index (RSI) score and consistent achievement of SALT targets. His leadership contributed to significant improvements in property conditions, brand standard cleanliness scores, and employee morale.

Ajay has been recognised with numerous awards for his innovative contributions and leadership excellence, including the Innovation Champion Awards for two consecutive years (2022 and 2023) and the Leader of the Year Award in 2023. DoubleTree by Hilton Pune-Chinchwad appointed Ramesh Chander as the new Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager. Ramesh’s impressive career journey, spanning 16 years, includes leadership roles at prestigious hospitality establishments.

Before joining DoubleTree by Hilton, he served as the Food and Beverage Manager at Hilton Garden Inn, Hinjewadi, where he managed multiple F&B outlets and large-scale banquets. His extensive experience also includes roles at Godwin Hotels and Resorts, Welcomhotel Katra by ITC Hotels, Seven Seas Hotel, Jaypee Hotels & Resorts, Taj Mahal Hotel New Delhi, and ITC Maurya New Delhi. Throughout his career, Ramesh has demonstrated exceptional skills in food and beverage operations, restaurant management, and banquet management.

Agra :  Courtyard by Marriott Agra has announced the appointment of Prateek Wadhwa as Director of Sales. With over 15 years of distinguished experience in the hospitality industry, Prateek brings extensive knowledge and expertise to this role. 

Prior to joining Courtyard by Marriott Agra, Prateek served in Sales and Marketing at Fairfield by Marriott Jodhpur where he spearheaded the sales team, driving exceptional results.

His career has also included roles with Hyatt Hotels, Taj (IHCL), the Asian Development Bank, Chime Tours (Eastbound Group), and The Lalit Hotels. This diverse experience gives him a strong grasp of industry operations and challenges.

With his extensive experience spanning two decades, Aditya’s journey showcases his remarkable ability to lead and innovate across diverse locations. Prior to this, Aditya excelled as Director of Food & Beverage at the Four Seasons Hotel, The Westcliff, Johannesburg. His career trajectory, spanning 14 years, is characterised by significant contributions to renowned venues, making him ideally suited to lead the culinary experiences at The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi. His leadership skills are set to elevate the dining and beverage offerings, perfectly aligning with the hotel’s unwavering dedication to hospitality excellence. 

In his current role, he will work closely with the hotel’s Director of Food & Beverage to oversee all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, banquets, meeting rooms, and outdoor catering. Anant Leekha takes over as General Manager, Novotel Pune
